Yesterday as we were leaving a locally owned hardware,the lady behind the customer service desk asked across to the cashiers "do any of you know where this woman can buy coal" ? Since I happened to be in exactly the right spot, I pulled out the complimentary pen I received at the last coal purchase.I gave the number and the directions.The older woman explained about fixed income and unable to afford oil anymore. Going to reactivate the old stoker,she knew she would be buying rice in bags.The woman seemed far too happy for just one simple phone number and directions. It made me feel good to be able to help. Regards, Mike P.S. I had the heat on in the Dodge this morning and that is the unmistakable sign to put the flue pipe back on the stoker and go into the "Final Ready Mode".
