Moving Topics about Manufacturer Products

Moving to the "Coal-Trol Digital Thermostat" forum in 3... 2... 1...

The policy is that we don't move topics from the main forum to manufacturer forums. You may post these questions in the appropriate forum or inside the manufacturer forum. Topics can be moved from the main forum if the author requests it.

My bad....sorry, I saw it was about CoalTrol and figured it would be mroe appropriate in the MFR's section.
Will not move any more topics.

Richard, would it be okay if a moderator or manufacturing rep (who then requests the action from a moderator) asks the thread originator if it would be okay to move it to a manufacturer forum?

The thread in question certainly seems to be the sort that would normally go in the Coal-trol forum. I probably wouldn't have noticed this wasn't in the CT forum myself. I tend to just use the forum wide "new" link and sift through the thread listing for what looks interesting, without much regard for which forum a thread is in. I guess my point is, the action taken here doesn't seem out of line. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your intent with the manufacturer/product specific forums.

The point is if I don't know if they intentionally posted outside the manufacturer forums, anyone can suggest to author that it be moved.
