My daughter & son-in-law will be having their chimney built this week & connecting up their new TLC. It will be located in an unfinished basement with the wall thimble probably about 4'-5' above the stove through the cement foundation wall. Is there a preferred location & orientation for the barometric damper I'll have them install?
