I'm sure most of you will be sad to hear this  .... but I'm taking a break from posting on political threads for a bit. I'm getting too worked up as we get closer to the election & I've pretty much made all my arguments here anyway. I will continue to post on other topics but I'm giving myself & you all a break.......At least I'm going to try!!
(if anyone really wants to hear the other side of any particular debate , PM me the thread & I'll take a look)

(Think I'll probably start my TLC this weekend & hope the warm humid weather is done for the year!)
Tending the TLC always seems to calm me down. :) ...Maybe a little chanting to........Mmmmmmmmmm!

Thanks for the thoughts Dave!

I've been getting a bit edgy & snapping at people here so...I figured it's time to lay off, kick back, light the TLC & put things in perspective a bit. I'll still be here & probably looking through the threads, but life's too short to get too worked up about this stuff! ;)

I think my doing this will lower the forum's collective blood pressure by probably 10 points! .......More of this: :verycool:
& less of this: :rambo2:
(I know I probably just saved an airliner full of passengers from Greg, doing a kamikaze attack after reading one of my posts......& Richard, deciding to give up the forum & taking up basket weaving! ;) )

(X-mass music will be starting soon so I can lay off Talk radio too! ;) )

The between the [Font color] & the [youtube].
Highlight the word & hit . The Mayor recently added the feature.

BTW don't come here on 11/5 doing an end-zone dance. :x

Hope the Mayor enforces the CHAD rule. "excessive end zone celebrations"

Are you talking about excessive end zone celebrations like the one that Desean Jackson did during the Dallas game?

Devil,

A break from the political topics is good for you, take it from me. I've started to dable just a bit in them again recently but not much. I also highly recommend not watching the news for awhile too. Frankly there is nothing you can do about any of it and just makes your blood pressure go up. For instance, at this very moment, I'm NOT WATCHING the news. I am going to watch the debate tonight though. See you in the coal section!

I can't pass up that nice juicy chunk of bait you just threw in the water..

So you're admitting that I'll have something to celebrate on 11/5 & you wont? ;)

This is like a junkie on his first day w/o heroin! :fear: I can't stop watching the news however.........(unless I put myself back in a coma.!)...& I'm really looking forward to watching the debate tonight on CSPAN.
I just started the TLC & I'm more relaxed already! :D
(still just doing a 1/3rd fill, but I'll play it by ear. If it stays cool; enough to keep it running, I'll fit it up)

You're both wrong. I never said I wouldn't respond to "provocations" on my own thread! (I'm not Superman! )
