Requiring another ash bin

Requiring another ash bin

PostBy: dtzackus On: Thu Oct 02, 2008 6:25 pm

Hello,

I was wondering on where I can purchase or have made another ash bin for my coal stove. I am in Schuylkill County, so if anyone has any ideas or even an idea that I could make my own besides making one out of cardboard. just kidding

I am not sure if there are any metal shops around the area, but any recommendations would be helpful. My coal unit is a Gibraltar LCC model.

Thanks.

I presume you are referring to the part that is also referred to as the ash pan--a sheet metal part. If this is the part you are referring to I think any sheet metal shop could make one for you--just take the existing one in and ask them to make a duplicate. Stallers in downtown Schuylkill Haven is one place that could do it.

The part may also be available from your stove manufacturer.
