I can't believe how much this bill ballooned in the span of a couple days. Besides the $150+ billion added to the original $700b, the size of the bill text went from something like 40 pages to this. It's insane. I doubt even 1/10 of the people that voted for it read even half of it.

If this was such a crisis why did they have to add all of that pork bullshit to get it passed? I saw that one thing added was to force the insurance companies to handle mental illness the same as a physical illness. While that's a decent idea, again, what did it have to do with the banking crisis? My cynical mind keeps screaming, We've just been bamboozled once again!!!!
