Hi guys
You mentioned in another thread that Harmony might be closing down.Does that mean that UAE will be closing or just the Harmony mine ? I was going to try some UAE coal next year.Like the idea of good heat and low ash.

Thank's guys,
Mike
Been mixing the Sherman I got with some mystery coal I have. The mystery coal is a red ash that makes great heat with a small amount of air.But it makes HUGE clinkers even in the warm weather we've had so I've been mixing 50/50 for now, makes the shake down EZer.

J.C.
Still have 4.5 ton Superior stashed for the cold weather.Later this week I'm going to try a 50/50 mix with the white ash coal from Sherman and Superior.Should be real EZ to shake down that mix.I'll also be talking to you this spring about that non-floated coal we spoke about. The savings should be good but a lot of my cost is the guy who picks it up for me and bags it.

Don with red ash coal even in warm weather it will clinker even more with some of red ash coal veins it has alot to do with to much air and being it burns hotter it will hit the fuzion temp quicker most red will start fuziing at temps between 2700F up to 2900 F some coal veins will start at 2500f . UAE is good for clinker in warm weather .

Mike or berner might be able to answer this but when Joliet opens up again how big of an operation would that be? Is this the mine that Bill Reiner worked in himself? Thanks, Mike O.
