Hmmmm.....haven't got my stove yet either here in central Maine. Ordered it the first of June. Lotta folks haven't ggotten thiers as well. Folks that ordered the boilers even earlier haven't got thiers. Folks are staring to grumble. I feel bad for the distributor here....he's taking it on the chin from his customers. I know its a supply and demand thing. He's even having trouble getting coal, only delivering partial orders.
I see the first of November is a projected date so I'll hold out until then.
If absolutely necessary you can make the trip here with a pickup and trailer, at the very least that should get you 3 to 4 ton. Really depends on the trailer and truck. Many are doing that now from NY, MD and other nearby states. LsFarm has picked up a lot of coal here and he has similar distance to travel. but not quite If you did it in the summer it would have only been about $130 a ton, I don't know what they are charging now. The savings on the coal will more than make up for the expense especially with dip in the cost for gas. Only thing you'll lose is time.
Thanks Jerry. Had my stove for 2 weeks now. Hooked up 95% of it today. Need to wire an outlet for the control bax and get a longer cable for the thermostat. Most likely won't get it fired up till next weekedn. Need to start hauling coal tomorrow.
I have the Pocono bottom vent. This is a good looking rig.
