Why do we as Americans keep blaming one party or the other? It is clear as day that both parties are more concerned with their welfare than the welfare of the country, and that is one of the many reasons we have some problems now. Both parties have partly been to blame for our current trade deficit as well as us. I'm not sure if you guys have looked around at work, but I see a bunch of folks with a pretty poor work ethic. That includes so called conservatives and liberals. Both are lazy!!

Anyway, the point is if we keep pointing fingers to one side or the other we may as well forget it, because that takes up time and energy we need to try and solve this problem.

Your "Personal Attack" way of debating also fits in very nicely with your hero John McSame's tactics this year as well.

Instead of blaming one another and name calling lets look at the cause of most of the problems we're having:

We used to have a strong dollar ... Politicians changed that.

We used to be respected around the world ... Politicians changed that.

We used to have a strong manufacturing economy ... Politicians changed that

We used to have lower tax structures ... Politicians changed that..

Marriage used to be sacred ... Politicians are changing that.

We used to be a large exporter of American made goods ... Politicians changed that.

We used to teach patriotism in schools ... Politicians changed that.

We used to enforce LEGAL citizenship ... Politicians changed that..

See a pattern here, we're not the problem the politicians are. We need to open our eyes and look at what we once were, and where we have come and say " Enough is Enough" ! Neither candidate will give us the " change" that we need. We need to start voting them all out and replace them with one's who are " For Us", not all their greedy friends.

We argue relentlessly about the bums in Washington and really there is very little difference between any of them. The Republicans used to be hawkish on spending, now they spend as much or more with the only difference being instead of raising taxes to pay for it like the libs, they borrow it from Red China!

If McCain is the best my party can come up with, well, I guess they deserve what they get. Hey devil, how did you like Romney as Governor? He seemed like a better choice by far than McCain-

I never really had much against Romney as Governor other than the realization that he was simply using it as a stepping stone to try to reach the Presidency. He was OK & fairly moderate in his views but really did nothing, either good or bad, imo. He was caught employing illegal aliens to work on his private home (mansion) here in this state, which was pretty illuminating as to who he really is though. He would have been a much smarter VP choice for McCain than "Miss America" though! (he would have given McCain much needed "weight" for the economic problems that are now issue # 1)
