Based on the rhetoric coming out of John McCain's campaign, I guess we Americans are supposed to really believe that Obama is a terrorist or a terrorist sympathizer. Do you believe he is? (serious answers please)

I'm serious Stephen. John McCain's campaign is saying that Obama "Pals around with terrorists.".........I'm trying to find out if this is a serious charge, as many people at McCain Rallies are driven to extreme hatred & even violence. This is quite different than having legitimate political differences with a rival, it is accusing someone of treason against their county.
I am almost 62 years old & cant remember any such hatred & vitriol being leveled against a political foe in my life. (and my first "Boss" was Richard M. Nixon!)
If these are serious accusations, lets hear where they are leading?

No one accused him of being a terrorist. He lives near, has worked with and is supported by a man that bombed the Pentagon, these are undeniable facts, not accusations.

What is the average citizen supposed to believe when Sarah Palin says (& I quote) Senator Obama "Pals around with terrorists?"

I found out a few weeks ago a guy I work with in the Business Association with is a pedophile. I am a board member and he has had some sporadic participation. He makes signs here in our tow and I have had him make all of the signs for my office building, including the tenants. Does that mean I am a pedophile too, or like that type of person?

Edit: Obviously joking here,...but what isn't a joke is that many people are taking seriously the politically motivated charges that Obama is IN FACT a terrorist or at least a terrorist sympathizer...& that is dangerous to our American way of voting & life, IMO.
