Looks great!

Can you post some pics of it installed and of the coal feed? Maybe a few closeups of the motor/fan/gearbox assembly, too.

How did you light it? That round door looks awful small to get much access to the fire for lighting.

I don't have it installed . I had it burning outside with the garden hose feeding the bottom spilling out of the pipe on top . I plan on selling this but I had to make sure everything was working right and I really just wanted to see it burn . I used a starter bag and a acetylene/ oxy torch . I was easier to pull the ash pan out and sneak the torch up from the bottom .Once going I shut it down for about 30mins then cycled it back on took about 1min for a nice hot fire to poke through . I ran it about 3hrs this morning .

It looks really good. I was strongly considering buying this from the classifieds, but I was concerned about the lack of parts availability if I needed to replace something. I still need a boiler, though. Maybe I will have to re-consider.

Convert it back to coal . The guy I work with has one for the last 10 yrs and loves it. There are used stokers around and most parts are still available . Dave

I am looking for a domestic coil for my coal-o-matic. I have many other parts including three ash doors and extra burners.

I know I'm a new guy bringing up an old thread, but this is the only thing I ever found on these furnaces.
I have a couple pics of an older, larger boiler that I heat my house with...until today. It's been here since 1944.
Mine has Anthra-Flo on it for the name.

My neighbor has one just like mine in her basement that I cannibalize for parts occasionally, I have to talk to her to get some more tomorrow.

Thanks for the welcome. I was just talking to the neighbor. She said "take whatever you want off of it, You can take the whole thing." I should be set.
A guy at work id really good at welding cast iron. I'm going to see if he can repair the old parts too.
