It was a tough loss. There sure was a lot of homers. Back to Fenway tomorrow! Lester will be pitching!!!

To think we added Timlin to the roster so he could do something different than he did all season, win? His days are past him, send him on his way. What a heck of a game though, even though the good guys lost.

Timlin was the only relief pitcher left to enter the game. I suppose Titto could have put Byrd in since he probably won't start any games. It was pretty slim pickens at the end. Timlin only got a 1 year contract after last season. I really don't think he'll be back. He's had a great career. 3 world series rings! Not many players have that. Hat's off to him.

4 World Series wins for Tmilin, Bob. 92 & 93 with the Jays, 04 & 07 Sox, but he has been a mop up man for 2 seasons now. I wish him well as long as he pitches elsewhere next year, if at all. The Rays are making this exciting though, and that is what makes baseball so great.

Forgot about '92. It sure is going to be a great series. I think Timlin will retire.
