I have one inch pex al pex inside the house but still need to plumb further. I am curious what my options are for plumbing another 25 feet. I don't have any 1 inch left. Is 1 1/4 inch oxygen barrier pex the same inside diameter as 1 inch pex al pex? Thanks Brian

If you aren't going around a lot of corners.. you may want to price 1" and 1 1/4" iron pipe.. 1 1/4" pex is rather expensive.. and the required fittings are expensive as well.

Good point Greg. My Pex comes up a bit short and I'm using black iron & copper to go the last few feet. It saves buying a whole roll of Pex and the fittings. They sure know how to price Pex fittings!

Black iron is fine in closed loop systems
