This happened last night in a town about 12 miles from us. Not sure what happened they are thinking propane leak. The people are lucky to be alive.

We seem to get one of those around here every few years but is' gas. Lot's of people get gas from the street. What's odd is the houses always seem so devastated and you'd expect everyone to be dead but it seems they usually live like in that one.

That sucks. Glad everyone lived through it.

I remember when the mid valley (Lackawanna County, Pa.) began to change from coal to city gas heat. Homes exploding was quite common in those days.

That last snippet caught my eye too like they were blaming Wal-Mart.

Today they say a dog some how turned on a propane gas valve and caused tank to vent into basement. Then a spark from hot water tank caused explosion.

Our poor canine friends get blamed for everything from flatulence to house explosions. If only they could talk.
