well with the small round door 350 or 520 it is not easy but take the auger and tube off then take the the 4 bolts out off the blower tube and slide the pot out from the tube you will have to do this threw the ash door on your back lower the pot replace the grates and put everything back or yo can pull the side blower plate of the base but you will have to remove the side jacket to do this good luck have fun

Can't you remove the 6 outer bolts/nuts that hold the whole burner ring assy. to the pot and slip that ring with the plates down and out of the ash pit door? Or is the ash pan guide in the way?

You need to pull the whole pot out so you can replace the grates plus check all of the gaskets the ash ring should be taking out before you can drop the pot down threw the ash door also unscew the eye bolt under the pot that goes to the clean
out rod

Do yourself a favor and pull the whole stoker and pot assembly out. It is much easier to work on it exposed then trying to work through the round door or through the bottom. No big deal to pull it out. Two guys and a little muscle.

I agree. Do you disconnect the burner end pipe or just disconnect the worm at the coupler and pull the whole thing out?

Take the auger out & auger tube Take the blower side Jacket off turn the two scews on the base plate and pull the blower
& Pot threw the side of the base that is what I was saying in the first post For Option 2 The first Option would to
take the Auger & auger tube out then loosen the blower tube from the pot and drop the pot down threw the ash door
removing the ash ring and the eye bolt under the pot for the clean out rod
