Just bought a Keystoker 4212 hearth feeder stove. Loaded up the hopper fired it up and got her going. after 1/2 hour the whole shoot had burning coals and I can not seem to find how to adjust the feeder. There is a threaded rod with a finger coming from the sliding plate but nothing for the tab to hit??? Anyone with a manual or photos to help me cool this beast down? I also have a Reading stove but that one is easy to change.
Thanks!!

Should just have a tab at the end of the threaded rod. It should be screwed all the way in (clockwise) and back it out 2-3 turns to start, if you still get the whole plate burning, back it 1/2 turn and check it after 1-2 hours, it takes time to burn down, so do it slowly. Should be approx. 1" of ash at full burn.
But, starting the stove, you will have the full plate burning until it settles down and start to develop some ash.

You will just have to play with it until it stops pushing hot coals off the plate, then you will have it "Dialed In".
SOmetimes just trial and error. But most of the stoves are very similiar in design.
