Powell has always supported the Right to choose, and he has always been a moderate Republican. If you beleieve Palin really wants Intelligent design taught in schools, which implies she is a fundamentalist Christian ( Pentacostal), how could you support McCain? McCain is 72 years old folks and the actuarial tables say there is a 1 in 4 chace he will now serve out his first term. McCain (Palin tooo if she could actually put three words together) has always said he feels the Roe v. Wade case was a bad decision and should be overturned. That philosophical difference in the balance of the Supreme Court alone would be enough to sway a voter. Mostly, I think Powell feels he was thrown under the bus by the Bush administration and wants to see them run out of town. Powell was the darling of the Republican party for years and would be still if he continued to campaign for the Republican party as he did in the past, but, becuase he has a mind of his own and feels the Republican party has taken the wrong direction, he is now a bad guy? That just doesn't make sense.
Really, how many liberal White guys has Powell endorsed? Right....none. Keep trying though
He was always a RINO...this was never a surprise, unless your a moonbat...oops...SURPRISE!
You can stop with the Palin bashing, it doesn't really make you look any brighter there tuff guy.
