I'm late to this party. I've been trying to stay away from the political forums but this was low hanging fruit. There is such a thing as a RINO and the poster boy is McCain. This year we've got a choice between old crotchity RINO McCain or young wet behind his big dumbo ears, never took a vote so he couldn't be pinned down on anything, Obama. We're really screwed no matter which of these sub-par candidates wins. McCain doesn't appear to have any fresh ideas to me. He's admitted he doesn't understand the economy. I'm not sure anyone really does. Obama doesn't have any REAL ideas either, just HOPE and alot of bullshit. He's shown a propensity to poor judgement with associations with the likes of Ayers, ACORN, Wright, etc. We need a viable third party with some real new ideas. Unfortunatley, the game is rigged with the media as a partner to keep third partys down. I'm going to vote for a third party candidate. I live in the peoples republic of Maryland so there is no doubt Obama will carry MD. It's looking like he will win the election. Can't wait until the *censored* hits the fan under Obama and of course it will all be blamed on Bush and the republicans. All we'll have left is HOPE.

While I feel that Obama may well be the real deal, I cannot vote for him ,in good conscience due to his party being such cowards & giving in to Bush by not stopping the occupation in Iraq & not impeaching him. Why not do what I'm doing & vote for Ron Paul........ I don't agree with Paul on many issues but I do on the big ones & at least he is an honest, honorable man....something you can no longer say about McSame.

He's not on the ballot in MD and I doubt if he is in Mass. either.

Write his name in....If everyone in the country did that they couldn't just ignore it.

Heh, I'm not sure if your serious or being sarcastic, but I do know people who really have elevated this POLITICIAN to that of a DEITY.

Every time in history when this has occurred very awful things have followed.

He is just a man, a corrupt lieing man ( like 95% of all politicians), but just a man none the less.
It scares me to think that people in this day and age can actually do this.

Reagan wasn't the Reagan we remember when he was elected in 1980. He was an untested unknown. He did pretty well.

We have no idea what kind of President Obama might be. He demonstrably has the power to inspire people to follow him (that's not really arguable, just look at his campaign organization). That's leadership. Some won't follow him, but lots of folks thought Reagan was full of crap too.

The socialist/terrorist stuff is as ridiculous as the McCain is a manchurian candidate claims, there's about as much evidence that the russians reprogrammed McCain as there is that Obama is anti american.

Even if you give Obama a pass on all of the questionable relationships with characters like Tony Resko, Bill Ayers, etc, you can't deny that his stated agenda is devoutly socialist. If you can then you don't understand what socialism is.
