Their announcers were not impressive either. Countless times through the series I wondered if I was watching the same game as they were.

Would you rather the most ignorant (McCraver) annoucer/color man in the business did the game? I agree their coverage was poor, but anything is better that Tim and Joe in a booth togther. Buck is good without Tim, but togther, they are the most uninformed announcers I have heard with maybe the exception of Joe Morgan, who can not admit he isn't God's gift to the world.

Go Rays, they played a heck of a series and even though I am a die-hard SOx fan, I am happy for teh Rays and their fans. It is good for baseball, especially the American League East, which was getting stale with Boston and New York being the only contenders each year.

The Sox had their chances in the 7th and 8th inning to take the lead but failed to get the job done. Oh well, they got a couple extra games out of it.

I agree. They earned this all season & the Red Sox have been pretty marginal with injuries this year. Good riddance to Manny & hopefully "Big Pop-Up" will turn back into "Big Poppy" next year!
