Hi everyone:

I thought I would just bring everyone up to speed. It is now official; the snowman is now burning coal. I purchased a Jotul 507 on Sunday October 19, 2008. I had inquired about buying an alaskan Kodiac, however, the seller sold it before I could purchase it. I purchased the Jotul in PA. By ten p.m Sunday night after a 380 mile round trip to pick up the unit; I had it installed and was burning coal. Here in upstate NY on the Tug Hill it was down to 22 degrees. The Jotul worked well. I decided to stay up all night to watch over it. Today it is only in the mid thirties and I have the unit throttled down and the house is over seventy. This is cool. I also purchased a new manometer from ebay yesterday and expect delivery of that in a couple of days. I want to thank everyone on this forum for all of the input over the last few weeks. I will be posting some pics maybe this evening or possibly tomorrow. Oh, does any Jotul 507 owners have a manual? I would be willing to pay for a copy or maybe someone could scan it and send it to me. Thanks everyone. The snowman aka wayne.
