we just started to use our new hitzer 983. We are having trouble keeping the coal burning. Could the outside temp. be the problem? It is going into the 50's in the afternoons. When we first started the fire it stayed lit for about 8 hrs overnight. but since then the fire's have been going out after a few hrs. Any suggestions?
thanks
Terry

When it's warm out you need to give it more air, your not getting enough draft from your fireplace chimney.
