I have a few questions If it turns out that someone high up in he McCain campaign knew this story was faked & went ahead & used it to help McCain's candidacy:

It is my understanding that John McCain went as far as to telephone the woman last night to express his sorrow over the "Attack"!

Here's my questions:


1. If it turns out that someone high up in the McCain campaign knew the story was faked & went ahead with using it as a campaign tactic anyway, what should happen (if anything) to that person?

2. If John McCain knew it was false, what should happen?

The better question is, would you have posted this story if it was not fabricated?

I posted it because it may have been another desperate campaign tactic Stephen. That is what makes it a national story rather than a simple "mugging story" for the local newspapers. ....But how would you answer my questions?

I guess when they go after all the voter fraud from Acorn, who everyone knows is endorsing Obama, we can worry about this issue.

I read a few news reports and only one indicated any involvement with McCain where they mentioned Palin reportedly called the woman.

If the McCain campaign doesn't respond when initially reported they are uncaring, when it proves to be false report which is obvious from the start they are now labeled as racists, taking advantage of a situation etc.

All irrelevant... why is this news to begin with? I'll tell you why, because the news media reports what sells. Clearly a backwards B is indicative that she did it herself, the story should have never been published to begin with and we wouldn't be having this discussion would we?.

Giving in to my background, I smell some possible violations of federal law here that would be the ultimate in voter fraud: ie an attempt to STEAL a Presidential election which to me would be a crime which should carry the death penalty....Just like TREASON in time of war can.

But what if my "Hypothesis" is true Richard...(which is possible) If someone high up in the McCain Campaign knew it was a fake story, should there be consequences against him/her for pretending it was true?

I guess my question is: At what point does a political "Dirty Trick" become a serious crime against the United States?

Would the murder of your opponent be a political "Prank"?.....I fear there are some in the Karl Rove school of politics who would believe that!

As an American, I can't think of a more serious crime against the very fabric of this country than trying to "steal" the Presidency!

I do not want to get tangled up in the weeds here. The issue has nothing to do with an undoubtedly crazy, racist young woman. The issue is her POSSIBLE (emphasis added) use by one political campaign to commit the ultimate fraud against we American voters!
If that was true, & can be proven in a court of law, I feel that constitutes the worst type of Treason that can be thought of & deserves the ultimate penalty.

My theory, BO hired her to really fire up the minority vote.
