If you know anything about nuclear physics you're not worried about terrorists having yellowcake.
Long story short: it's a massive project to create U235 from yellowcake, far beyond what terrorists are capable of. It's a major project for a nation, it's simply not doable for an independent group.
The argument was about Saddam having it, not the terrorists
Yellowcake is not a WMD. Enriching natural uranium into weapons grade uranium is not a back yard project that's easy to hide. It takes thousands of centrifuges and a huge amount of power to run them.
Iraq was not a threat to the US. Saddam was the greatest threat to fundamentalist islam in the ME. AQ wanted him out of Iraq more than we did.
Riddle me this batman, if Iraq was going to give WMD to terrorists, why did they never give WMD to Palestinian terrorists to use against their mortal enemy Israel?
As for Plame and Wilson, they have their own agenda. The larger point is that even if Niger sold yellowcake to Iraq, so what? Bush brought it up in the speech so he could say "uranium" and fearmonger the naive.
The death of science education in this country is going to be the end of us.
