Bush Vindicated... WMD's in IRAQ

I must say, I don't know what to make of this. I don't have the time to investigate... Devil, maybe you can look into it and verify what is true and not true?? See the following articles and the links below them:

Date: Thu, 9 Oct 2008 10:12:43 -0400
...

Retired Major General Jerry Curry is a decorated combat veteran who served

as an Army aviator, paratrooper, and Ranger during a military career that

began during the Korean conflict. He recently wrote about a very

under reported story by the Associated Press.

According to the report, a large stockpile of concentrated natural Uranium,

known as "yellowcake," reached a Canadian port to complete a top secret U.S.

Operation that included a two-week airlift from Baghdad , and a ship voyage

crossing two oceans. The Uranium material had been housed at a former Iraqi

nuclear complex 12 miles from Baghdad .

This was actually mentioned on TV and Radio awhile back, not much interest in the truth being used to vindicate anyone, Dirt, lies and smears sell much better.

Bill Clinton on Global Food .... Bush was the good guy.

http://www.wjla.com/news/stories/1008/563929.html

........
He noted that food aid from wealthy nations could itself be a tool for bolstering agriculture in poor countries. Canada, for example, requires that 50 percent of its aid go as cash - not as Canadian grain - to buy crops grown locally in Africa and other recipient countries.

U.S. law, however, requires that almost all U.S. aid be American-grown food, which benefits U.S. farmers but undercuts local food crops. Bush proposed earlier this year that 25 percent of future U.S. aid be given in cash.

"A bipartisan coalition (in Congress) defeated him," Clinton said. "He was right and both parties that defeated him were wrong."

The reason it's not a big story is because it's not a big deal.

If you know anything about nuclear physics you're not worried about terrorists having yellowcake.

Long story short: it's a massive project to create U235 from yellowcake, far beyond what terrorists are capable of. It's a major project for a nation, it's simply not doable for an independent group.

If this was what this article reported, why didn't Fox News run crazy with it? I can see the liberal press conspiring against the Bush administration, but Fox too? I recall seeing this story a while back and then nothing more. I figured it was another error in analysis like some of the earlier reports.

FOX is "liberal" mainstream media just like CNN. All of it is collectivist oriented. CNN is to Marx as FOX is to Mussolini. There are NO freedom fighters in the mainstream press.

I have heard this response quite often by my more left leaning friends but it begs the question:

If is wasn't a big deal that Saddam HAD YELLOWCAKE IN HIS POSSESSION, why was it so important for Wilson and Plame to prove, with a grandstanding fact finding mission, that Saddam had NOT PURCHASED what he already had that, after all, wasn't so important ?????

That, my friends, is liberal mind bending at its absolute finest. And if you liked that, Obama will serve up even more for you. Get ready for the largest wealth redistribution in our nation's history based on similar liberal logic.

Great clip! How can you argue with a regular guy like that? McCain should have used him instead of Joe the Plumber. He is his own business owner, creates jobs, probably pays his bills, and has a heck of a sense of humor.

Great point. Can't have it both ways
And, if it was not important, why did they guard it so carefully, then spend the bucks to fly all million pounds of it out?

Lets see, yellow cake can be bought on the internet... It hardly makes it a WMD nor does it constitute an immediate threat to the US.

Iraq never had nuke capability nor did they have a decent launch vehicle and their stock of chemical weapons was known to have been used against Iran and others. PLEEAASE....
