Judge tosses lawsuit challenging Obama citizenship

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit challenging Barack Obama's qualifications to be president.
U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick on Friday night rejected the suit by attorney Philip J. Berg, who alleged that Obama was not a U.S. citizen and therefore ineligible for the presidency. Berg claimed that Obama is either a citizen of his father's native Kenya or became a citizen of Indonesia after he moved there as a boy.
Obama was born in Hawaii to an American mother and a Kenyan father. His parents divorced and his mother married an Indonesian man.
Internet-fueled conspiracy theories question whether Obama is a "natural-born citizen" as required by the Constitution for a presidential candidate and whether he lost his citizenship while living abroad.
Surrick ruled that Berg lacked standing to bring the case, saying any harm from an allegedly ineligible candidate was "too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters."

What's the problem? Obama was delivered into this world from a female that was in a US state at the time. Nothing else matters. End of story.

Schwarzenegger was not born in the USA. (Without a change in the constitution) He can never be president. End of story.

There's 2 things I've heard...

his birth certificate doesn't have a notary embossed seal on it

and that his mother was under 18,that would eliminate him being naturalized as an American citizen.

All I know is I can't wait until it's finally over, neither one is going to "change" anything for the better...

If you're born in the US you're a US citizen.

If ONE of your parents is a US citizen you are a US citizen no matter where you are born.

There is no age requirement for your parents.

Obama's grandmother claims she was at his birth, along with his brother, in Kenya. The mother was not allowed to fly so close to the due date, so he was born in Kenya then flew to Hawaii a few days later.
Obama can't even decide which hospital he was born in.

The key to the whole thing is just WHERE did his mother give birth?

He is an American Citizen just by her being one, BUT, WHERE is the point... It has to be on American soil OR soil recognized as being American, Military base etc.

He says one hospital, his sister says another...

His grandmother in Kenya says she was PRESENT IN KENYA IN THE DELIVERY ROOM when he was born...

So, which is it?

The records are easy to obtain, why not call a press conference in HI, go to the county office and have the news crew film him request a certificate and show it being printed off from their computer and stamped.

He could make a statement that basically says to everyone here the SOB is, now STFU!!!


Instead, he is fighting it tooth and nail and placing altered documents that belong to his SISTER on a web site telling every one these are his and this is his certificate...


How simple would that be, all those that doubt him, yes including me... Would have egg on their faces...

I''m pretty sure his mother farted during the last push and was actually propelled up off the table. His birth happend in mid air, and he was delivered almost certainly in international space.

That would be one hell of a fart given that international airspace starts at anything > than 12 miles and there is no limit on vertical airspace. I am not sure that is possible to be propelled that far by a common fart.
