All science is a theory awaiting more data.

Gravity is a theory, we don't know why it works.

Did Darwin ever answer the question of where the first living cell came from?
How do cells know where to go to form any living thing? How many cells form the human body? Every cell has to know where to go to form all the parts of our body. What tells them where to go? Are they programmed? If so who programmed them?

You make observations. You create a theory that explains the observations. You gather more data. You refine the theory. Repeat the process.

It's pretty dense reading and most folks I have given a copy to have never read more than a chapter or two before announcing that it is nonsense. I've read it several times and enjoy it. The author started out as an agnostic searching for the truth as best he could explain it.

In a few spots, but there are plenty of beauties w/o help.

Ever look at a humming bird, a porcupine, a skunk, a dragonfly, a firefly, a bumblebee, etc and really think they were not all uniquely created? Man with all our intelligence has never created a single living thing from scratch, yet people think all of nature came from virtually nothing. How interesting. Scientists only recently figured out how a bumblebee can fly, with all our brains and technology it still took this long to figure it out, but people think it just happened on it's own? That's not even logical.

Even if I did not believe in God this would be too much of a stretch for me.

You realize that's a "science" book that's written by a journalist...

Y'all shot your wad with the dover case and lost. Not only lost, but got laughed out of court by a GWB appointed judge.

Under cross examination Behe (who actually has a PhD in biochemistry) caved and said there was "there are no peer reviewed articles by anyone advocating for intelligent design supported by pertinent experiments or calculations which provide detailed rigorous accounts of how intelligent design of any biological system occurred". He was teh token scientist the ID people could find.

I'm all for faith, but don't pretend it's science.
