Can anyone tell me specifically which type of rheostat would be advised to add to an Alaska DV unit? Something that is the easiest to connect. Do they actually have something that can accept the 110 DV plug and then plug in itslef? I'd rather not hard-wire anything initially. I suppose the local electrical supply house should have something? Didn't see any such item at Depot or Lowes.

most don't have plugs, but easily wired into a box, make sure it made for Shaded Pole Motors...that is what most of the motors on the stoves are.
