Guilt by Association. Hang the Man!!

Okay, this whole association thing is getting kind of ridiculous. Here is a good example:
Bush Sr. and Nixon - Bush was the last man to jump from the burning ship. Most felt his political career was over. How was this one okay? I'll tell you why, because Bush didn't do anything wrong, and just because he associated with a liar and a cheat, did not make him one.

Many of my friends are staunch Republicans and though we hang out together, we have little in common politically. The truth is I am not going to sway them and they won't be able to sway me. Same with my two brothers. One is a far left nut case and the other is a far right case. How I am related to these guys I don't know, but I don't agree with much either of them has to say because I am in the middle. They also have no real clue what running a business is like and can talk about it in theory all they want, listening to a politician about running a business does not work nearly as well as staying at a Holiday Inn Express!!
