I blame mainly Bush for setting the tone of corporate greed that has run this country into the ground for the last 8 years & preventing effective oversight. McCain would just continue this for another 4 years.

Corporate greed has been there long before Bush or even Clinton for that matter . Besides where was the democratic congress during all this . Probably on vacation .

Since McCain will do nothing to really help the middle class, he will not help us home coal burners anyway. He wants to tax your employer's health care contribution. Obama will save tax money for us middle class people & thus help us pay for our coal.

Lets see corporate greed, bush, democratic congress,wall street fat cats. I have another blame it on scenario. How about one of the best pyramid schemes in human history. Seems to me thats all that wall street is. I don't understand how anyone could make money on it unless you never bought anything to eat or to live in or drive. If I buy stock in a car company the guy that runs it has to hike the price of the cars so I can get some money out of the deal, if I don't get any money out of the deal then I take my money out and he looses his job and car company goes belly up, people loose jobs nothing is worth nothing anymore. Wow thats what happened isn't it, oh but shoot now we are all in to our neck because of a bailout for companies that are loosing billions a day. Good thing this is a democracy or we would really be in the s**t now wouldn't we.
Lets get real now folks we have been had. And who are we going to vote for, oh thats right people that have been there and done that to us. We are so smart it's scary. I'm glad I'm 50 and can say, well I should only have 25 more years of this maybe at most.

Just heard some interesting information... it's probably fabricated to make this whole race a bit more interesting... but someone supposedly from the Obama campaign staff leaked to the media that according to Obama's in-house poling data, if we were to add 10 points the McCain camp for every state, the media's polling data would match up the Obama in-house polling data... Like I said, probably fabricated to make everything more interesting. I heard it from two different sources - one from an engineer working for PA's DEP and the other who said he heard Limbaugh rant about it.

Another interesting tidbit I heard today regarding the vote on same - sex marriage in Oregon that took place a few years ago - according to the polling, the measure was expected to pass by a 60% margin (80% - for, 20% - against). Yet, when the votes were counted, it failed by a 60% margin... 80% voted it down, and only 20% voted in favor of the measure. What's the point? The media, although powerful, may not have as much affect on the average person once the curtain is drawn and nobody is 'watching'...

I actually don't like either candidate... rather than voting 'for' someone, I may end up voting 'against' a candidate... I can't believe I'm still undecided!

What can one believe today? It's tough... making an informed decision. Is it even possible?

True story:

I was called by an Obama campaign person the other day & I explained that although I actually like & agree with Obama on most things, that I would be voting for Ron Paul due to my anger at the Democratic Party this year. I told the campaign worker that, with the amount of work I had done for Obama already this year in NEPA, that if he wins Pennsylvania.....I want a Cabinet post out of the deal!!
