The nights still get into the upper 30's plus when it rains it gets damp in the house.. Hardly burning anything. Hopefully in another 2 weeks i'll be able to shut it down till next heating season

Same here, a little cool at night so I'll keep her going for a while. Had to turn the water heater back on due to the stove being so low and having company for Easter - they expect limitless hot water!
Have to put some coal in every 2 days and empty the ashes about every 3.

my hopper holds around 100lb's.. Haven't added to the hopper or emptied the ashes in almost 2 weeks

Yes, only had it shut down for a week and then had to fire it back up, we have had 30's at night also!! I have it adjusted and is only using 50# in about 3-4+ days on idle/pilot mode. !! Hopefully soon, we can actually shut it down. but we still have about 1/2 ton left!! so let 'er burn!

We are supposed to be up in the 70's later in the week thru the weekend!!
