Same here - that's what is posted on all our gas pumps across the state .... HOWEVER, if you drive a flex-fuel vehicle, it has the capability, through a scan tool, to read the alcohol percentage of the fuel so that the tech can figure out how much E85 is still in your tank when you break down. I've never touched E85 in my life, yet my computer read 19.6% alcohol after a fill-up near the city.

This is government tyranny. They are SCREWING the public, yet, anyone who doesn't work on cars is none the wiser. The government loves this. It's like taking candy from a baby. :mad:

When was the last time any of you read of the outrage over this in the paper? I rest my case. :sick:

I would think that while the Gas Companies were still getting subsidies for the ethanol that they were simply increasing their profit by pushing higher amounts into the supply. Originally they were supposed to get something like 3 cents /gal & somehow it magically increased to over 50 cents, most likely the insider trading that is still legal for Congress & increases tacked onto other bills by reps of corn producing states.
