I found out after the fact that my neighbor bought a pellet stove. They originally were looking to get a coal stove but the dealer didn't have any in stock. The dealer only had 2 pellet stoves in stock so they bought one and the wifes brother bought the other. He had also been looking for a coal stove. They almost crapped their pants when I told them about my coal stove and what I paid for it. :D They never thought about looking for a used stove. They live on the opposite side from my chimney, maybe 80' and never smelled anything. Where as I can smell their pellet stove when it is in operation. ;)

Funny thing, walk down a neighborhood street at night in an old PA anthracite town such as Jim Thorpe or Lansford. YOU WILL smell the sulfur, but I love it!

My husband's afraid that the neighbor who comes out to sit on his front porch to smoke will get some added fumes!
Your choice of fuel is not his biggest problem!!
