The future under Obamas tax plan

The future under Obamas tax plan

PostBy: LsFarm On: Mon Nov 03, 2008 12:03 pm

Here it is, clean and concise... the reality of Obama giving a tax break to the low and middle class.. just to get elected. This will of course foster and accelerate the economic depression:

Dear Fellow Business Owners,
As the owner of a business who employs 30 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama will be our next President, and that my taxes and government fees will go up in a BIG way.
To compensate for these increases, I figure that the customer will have to see an increase in my prices to them of about 8%. I will also have to lay off 6 of my employees. This really bothered me for a while, as I believe we are family here and didn't know how to choose who will have to go.

So I strolled thru the parking lot and found eight Obama bumper stickers on my employees' cars. I have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem.
If you have a better idea, let me know. I am sending this letter to all business owners that I know.
Sincerely
Ward

Yeah.......I only hope if Obama is elected that he will not disturb the current excellent economy, health care system, foreign policy & future outlook that we are all enjoying under GW Bush's leadership/policies which John McCain promises to continue.

I can`t believe that there are many businesses left under this Bush economy but I think it would be a bad idea to lay-off by a party choice. Then again that seems to be the Bush (my way or the high way) method. If your business is good enough now why not just wait & see what happens? I thing scare tactics & miss-information put out by both parties is bad for the country. If your running a household, business or government you have to spend with-in your means, this country has gotten away from that, IMO that & greed is whats tearing this country apart.

So, the logic is, he will raise prices to make up the difference then lay off 6 people to make up the difference again? Sounds like typical Joe the Plumber logic to me. And lastly, I guess now there is no free speach since some employees are being penalized, but that is what Republicans have done for 8 years now, shreddd the constitution.

I own a fabricating shop with my two brothers. We've survived Carter, Regan, 2 Bushs and Clinton. We'll survive whoever gets the job. We have 10 employees. That gets us under most of the government radar, but our guys know that we swim together or sink together. No layoffs, no pay cuts.We provide heath care despite all the state and feds do to screw it up. If Obama can sink us, nobody has a chance. But he won't.

Surviving is nice but wouldn't you like to profit in proportion to your investment of time and money?

Survive means many things to many people. I don't think he meant scraping by.

It isn't up to him, only Congress can levy taxes. We will have to wait and see if they give him what he wants.

I am with you greg. Do the tally and cut it loose. You have to survive. When the people (voters) see what they voted for and how it will effect them. they will get sour and want his head.
