I read this on the Fox webiste today. Thank god we have generous souls out there like Joe the Plumber. Here is a guy I really admire, and not becuase of his cerebral approach to politics, but because he is a true Amreican, grabbing the dream by the balls and running with it. How many books will he sell to members of this site? Just curious. :bang:

He's unemployed? I thought he was buying his bosses' business? Unemployment pays 250,000 a year in Ohio. Anyone want to buy my house in NEPA I'm moving so I can join the unemployed out there.

Did you see him asnwering foreign policy questions at a press conference? Laghable if it weren't real life. Now he has found God and wants to give back. Liberal son of a bitch!!!

Joe The Plumber is just a Republican operative who was told to approach Obama publicly & try to gain sound bites for use in the McCain campaign. In other words, like everything else about the McCain campaign it was a lie, a stunt, a political dirty trick & an attempt to distract from reality.
It's a shame to see a man I used to respect (John McCain) reduced to a party caricature by the Neo-Con wing of the Republican Party. I think McCain saw them as people who know how to trick voters into voting for them & sold his sole to me. :devil:

John McCain did great tonight in the debate. But every time John mentioned “Joe the Plumber,” some of us in the campaign banged our heads against the wall. If Steve Schmidt had any hair left, I hear he would have been pulling it out tonight. He reportedly screamed at John’s debate prep team tonight (out of earshot of reporters, of course). “You idiots - he’s related to Charles Keating… of the Keating Five scandal!” They thought they had a real live Joe Six-Pack who’s spurned Barack Obama’s tax plan. it fails to mentions at who's request he "shouted" to Obama "from afar" or for whom was acting.
