He really didn't get the GOP support, at least in Ohio and maybe other places too. The one report I saw last night indicated only a 30% turnout, down from 40% in 2004, for republican voters in Ohio and said that was the major reason for his loss there. I wonder how accurate that is. Keep in mind that the percentages they give are out of all registered voters, not all people that meet the qualifications to vote. I wonder how many qualified voters actually register to vote. It is probably on the web somewhere if I cared enough to look!

I think as a country and in the way we are viewed by the whole world around us we just took a giant step forward. Hopefully it'll turn out to be a great thing and really move us towards being a better country.

I thought that was the best speech he gave through out his whole campaign. You could see when he put his hand up and told the crowd "now,now" when they were booing Obama that if he said anything else he was going to loose it. Also how tomorrow he gets to go back working for this great country that he loves to serve. I have more respect for the man after that speech he made.

I think, "a favor was done for him". He most likely doesn't feel that way, but why would anybody, want to find themselves at the head of the current mess?

I watched McCain's concession speech last night. If he campaigned like that he would've been the president. He came across as sincere, something I haven't seen from him in a long time. Quite frankly he should've been the president in 2000 instead of the knuckle dragger that won.
