Sarah Palin was the first NORMAL politician I have ever seen in my life! It just amazes me how anyone can be against hunting -- a sport that has been passed down by thousands of generations. We truly are becoming (well, at least 53% of us are) a bunch of spoiled, pansy kids as a society, with all the anti- hunting, anti- war, oooooohhh the environment, tree-hugging rhetoric we constantly hear.

I believe we ARE witnessing history: We are getting to see first hand how the seeds were sown for some states to secede from the union in 100 yrs or less, due to their wildly different & unresolvable differences.

Like I said b4 Smitty, all we can hope is that he doesn't screw up the finely tuned, Swiss watchlike economic perfection that GW Bush & a Republican controlled Congress (for 12 of the last 14 years) have established in this country over the last 8 years.

Do me a favor, turn on your TV this weekend & flip to a few NFL games, look in the stands at all those cheering fans that paid upwards of $175 per ticket. Try any pro sport, NBA, NHL, MLB, the stands are packed, Foxwoods casino, packed, powerball is at 25 Million.

It's always convenient to blame the president for things when they go wrong. In fact, other than control over the military and foreign policy, the president has little control over the economy, including commodity prices. If he did, things would have been smooth sailng to grease the skids for McCain. I can almost hear the refrain a few months or even a couple years from now when there are problems. It won't be Obamas fault, it will still be GWB fault. I like you Devil and admire your dedication to things political, but you really do need to lighten up with the drone of bashing the opposition party. It is tiring. You cherry pick the things you like that bolster your argument and ignore or dismiss things that argue against it including videos with the words coming out of Obamas mouth. You can't have it both ways.
Obama wasn't my choice for president. But now that it is a done deal, he's my president and I will support him until I think he is harming the country or working aginst my interests. We are all in this boat together and I certainly hope he will be a good president and leader. Many I speak to seem to think he is something special and will actually lead the country. I hope they are right.

It's a shame that some people are stupid enough to actually think they are going to get a free ride. Hearing them just makes me shake my head I guess some people are just not meant to understand things.



But one thing to remember it was McCain who wanted to bring out that 300 billion dollar bill to refinance people's mortgages at there new value and have the tax payers pick up the tap for the difference.

I agree a president can not control the economy but he does have power to influence it when there are signs of it going down hill. The first stimulus package was introduced a good 6 months too late for it to truly be effective. People where calling for it long before the white house felt their was a problem. As in with this new package they want stuff put in there to fix our roads and create jobs and once again just like before they are saying that by having money in there to fix roads that it wont help the economy because it takes a good year to a year and a half for those types of jobs to be put into place. But if it was in the first plan then they would be closing in on those jobs being created between now and next summer which is about how long it is going to take for this new stimulus package to be implemented.

The people who work in these sectors (the professionals) have been talking about us heading towards a recession for well over a year now but the powers to be just didn't want to accept it. Even back in June they kept pointing at the GDP numbers and saying how great they were but now when they are at a 28 year low you don't hear them saying anything. By pretending that it's not there does not make it go away on it's own, we need people in charge that have the ability to listen to the ones who are specialists in their fields. Even McCain went from the economy is sound to we need a bail out for this financial crisis. This don't go south with in a week and a half, it only does so over a long period of time. By his own accord John admitted that he too was not a man that is willing to accept what other people who know what they are talking about influence in his decision making process.

THERE IS ABSOULUTLY NO SPORT IN HUNTING ANIMALS FROM AIRPLANES AND HELICOPTERS ANYONE WHO SAYS DIFFERENT IS A SICK INDIVIDUAL...I AM NOT TOTALLY AGAINST HUNTING WHEN FOR FOOD AND DONE IN A HUMANE NORMAL MANNER.

Well call me sick! I have never hunted from an airplane but the airplane is just another tool. And if it weren't for the hunters who many years ago saw a need for conservation there would be no animals to be enjoyed today. The hunters of this country are responsible for all of the national and state parks across this great land that so many non hunters use for recreation. But it is always the non hunters who bitch and moan about hunters killing the poor little animals in their national or state parks. If you think hunting from an airplane is fun and you have the cash to do so then go for it. It is not like they have gun turrets and belt fed machine guns and are gunning down everything in their path.

I would agree, but then again it isn't about sport hunting. It may not be humane for the wolves, but I'm sure their victims appreciate it. These hunts come and go based on predator populations and are very strictly regulated.

The declining dow might have something to do with GM going in the tank. Tomorrow they are supposed to make a major announcement. Some are speculating they will be filing for bankruptcy. You now need a credit score of 700 to get a car loan. The housing market is in shambles. The bailout money isn't being used to make credit more liquid. They are using it to buy up other banks. PNC just bought another bank. BOA bought Wachovia and on and on. What does any of this have to do with Obama's election?

The people spoke LOUD AN CLEAR the country wants change. The rep party did this to themselves.
