You can continue to beleive that if you want Devil but until you have some something to back it up they are just meaningless words. For example, the recent financial crisis I provided about 10 resources from either government resources or other irrefutable resources. You on the other hand wished to Blame the reps but could provide nada to actually back your claims. It still amazes me how you can turn such a blind eye when presented with facts.

Now if you wish to respond to my post provide some substance. From this point forward posts such as the one you just made that contain no substance will be deleted. I've given you plenty of leeway but I'm at the end of my rope. I'm tired of hearing the same drivel over and over or seeing the same stupid pictures over and over. If you have a point with some actual information by all means make it. If you just going to post your hatred for the Republican party it will be deleted henceforth. There is no longer room in this forum for those types of topics.

That goes for everyone else as well, have some substance for your posts and keep them on topic. I understand there may be the common ribbing and other type posts and I'm not saying you can't make them however constant unsubstantiated ones that are meant to do nothing more than incite the other side will be removed immediately.

This is your forum Richard & I will do as you wish, but allow me to make a few points:

Opinions are not facts & cannot be proven by providing web links.
Since all posts must now "provide some substance" & since the definition of "substance" will always be totally subjective, am I correct in understanding this new forum rule is meant to outlaw personal opinions?

Well I'll make it as clear as I can:

Like I said b4 Smitty, all we can hope is that he doesn't screw up the finely tuned, Swiss watchlike economic perfection that GW Bush & a Republican controlled Congress (for 12 of the last 14 years) have established in this country over the last 8 years. :P

(Worst disaster since The Civil War for this country)
This is an opinion and could very well be fact but that is really not the question. Even posting it is not the question. The issue is that if I go back through your posts probably half of them will contain pretty much the same two or three sentences and that's it. If on the other hand you go back through my posts you will find my disdain for Obama but you will also find reasons for it.

The point is this, we all have out opions and we all certainly know what your is but we don't need to be reminded about it every other post you make. If you have reason or argument lets here it, the platform is yours. If you can't provide and argument or some substantial discussion refrain from posting your comments.

C'mon, Devil, relax! Any worthwhile opinion has it's basis in fact. That's all that the Mayor wants. The Forum is sinking into a mess of posts between those with different political opinions, I'm getting tired of it as well, getting to be a task to read through it all. For example you can't just post "GWB is an idiot". You can post "GWB is an idiot" if it is followed by proof that he has been tested and his IQ falls into the Idiot parameters.

IQ Range Classification
70-80 Borderline deficiency
50-69 Moron
20-49 Imbecile
below 20 Idiot

We gotta just lighten up a little here!

I am relaxed.....Goddammit!!

Look, I know my political ramblings have brought Richard to the edge of putting a noose around his neck (only because he can't get at mine) & jumping off a chair, but with the end of the election & the start of the colder weather (Hopefully!.....It's been around 60* here in the NE for almost a week  ) I think many "Off Topic" posts will be slowing down & we can all get back into doing what we like to do best: Helping one another & new members will coal heating questions/problems.
I will also take this opportunity to publicly apologize to all forum members (& staff) for getting a bit too.........ENTHUSIASTIC in stating, & "occasionally" re-stating my opinions. ;)

One of the favorite family jokes I keep telling my family is my belief that: If it's worth doing............It's worth OVER-DOING!
