wondering if anybody can give me some advice on their settings during warm weather. the last few days have been very warm and my house is almost 80 degrees. I feel like im wasting too much coal, and I don't want to shut down and relight later. so, basically...what is recomended setting for warm weather to burn the bare minimum amount of coal without the fire going out

Cooler weather will be here next week,, winter is just around the corner..
The only thing you can do is to lower your low setting on your aquastat,, to maybe 140-150*.. you won't save any appreciable amount of money... You still have to have the timed burns to keep the fire healthy,, and often this will keep the water above the low setting anyway..
Just let it idle along.. use plenty of hot water if your AA is heating DHW, enjoy the warm weather..
Winter is just a few weeks away..

I just checked the 10-day forcast.. 67* today in SE Michigan but by Sunday, a high of 35* low of 25*... So this weather will be in central Pa by Monday.
On your AA, what is the frequency and duration of your timed 'keep fire' burns?? Mine are about 1-2 minutes once an hour..

when the timer kicks it on, it runs for like 30 seconds. but it will probably run for a minute or two a couple times an hour other than that.

It sounds like you can't reduce it much more that you have it set right now.. You can't be burning much more than ~20# per day or so... My big AA260 burns about 25-30# per day when there is no call for heat,, just idling on the timer-burns..
By next Monday, you will be glad it's up and making heat..
