I'm reposting something I said on another thread in regards to drifting off coal as this forum's real purpose.I thought it was worth being seen by a wider audience here:

As one of those members who has made one or two political posts........  .......I will only say that we have just come through the longest, most contentious & divisive Presidential race I have ever experienced in my lifetime, & therefore it was almost unavoidable for this battle to NOT spill over into our little coal community.
That being said, I don't think any old or new member's question/problems were ever ignored or pushed aside in favor of Off Topic threads.
The election is over.......... & we should all now band together again as Americans & try to work together as a united country behind our new President.
As far as this forum in particular is concerned, I think we all prefer to discuss coal heating & enjoy helping our coal brothers out as our main reason for being here & Off Topic threads will again return to their minor role as they have always been.

As I said before, I'll show Obama the same respect and courtesy the Left has shown President Bush the last eight years.

A person should NEVER give up his morals or ideals just to ban together with the majority. After all the only thing you really own is you morals and ideals, everything else can be taken away.Your morals and ideals difine who we are.

Did we all rally behind Bush and his policys ?I think not.

What makes a nation GREAT is the opposing views,Or checks and balances if you will.

I'll remind everyone again about the new rules. They apply to everyone. Let's have some substance to our posts.

New Rules

Closing this.
