Nailed it! To orbit the Moon you need to fire: A large rocket burn to escape Earth & head to the Moon.......A braking rocket burn to orbit the Moon...........& then another burn to escape the Moon & head back to Earth.....Lots of fuel needed!

There was an History or A&E show several years ago that addressed each of the arguments made against the moon landing. It was pretty basic stuff too, not rocket science that explained all the questions proposed by others against the landing.

Well maybe he does, maybe he doesn't look different. It could just be the change from running for President to getting ready to be President. This is serious stuff now. Running for and being are two different things. Look at how all the Presidents look before and after they served, it takes its toll. Realizing what he has won may be a sobering thought.

I think this is more of a realization that they are responsible/accountable to handle ALL the problems of this country & the world in general. Not a reaction, necessarily to any specific intelligence info/briefs,.

I'd imagine the President, Vice President, National Security Advisor, Secretary of Defense, and maybe 1 or 2 other top level cabinet positions are privy to everything at least as far as top level threats and capabilities to this nation are concerned. . From there it would be broken down into who needs to know what.

I'll also venture to guess at this point in time Obama is saying to himself "*censored*, *censored* , *censored*" now that he realizes what a world of *censored* he's in.

Correct, coincidentally I just seen this mentioned a while back in either the print media or TV where they discussing life after the shuttle. It wasn't designed to go to the moon. As far as going to the moon what's the point anyway?


BTW as far as all those UFO nuts it's no coincidence when the majority of these reports started was when they started experimenting and producing aircraft like the SR71, that plane to this day can still go unimaginably fast and back then speeds it was capable of could only be described as UFO like because no one would even begin to think the U.S. possessed such a plane. I'll also add the same thing proabay happens today becsue undobtedly they must have been able to produce some really exotic aircraft in the last 50 years.

It's not THAT weak Mike. To be exact, it's 1/7th that of Earth's. Less, to be sure, but still pretty significant to escape.

First of all. Anyone who thinks we are alone in the universe is not only close minded but also very arrogant to think we are so special that we are the only species. There are billions of stars in our universe and billions of universes. So, just do the math. there is no way we live on the only single hunk of rock that supportds life...

As far as Kennedy is concerned I wil say this. I am a trained Marksman Observer ( sniper ) for the Federal Bureau of Prisons and consider myself a fairly good shot and I will tell you right now, there is no way in hell that Oswald made those shots all by himself. It is a documented fact that he was an average shot at best (according to his Marine Corp records)

I remember that there was an experiment done with three or four of the best shooters in the world and they re created the whole shooting scene and NONE of them could pull it off in the time that oswald did, especially with a bolt action rifle. Was he involved? Sure. Was he good enough to pull off those shots under EXTREME pressure in suce a short amount of time? No Way !!
