Any body have one of these? I would like a picture of the firebox and grate assembly. I want to know if they are built to last.

A few members have them, do a forum search as there are a few threads on New Yorkers. While almost every coal appliance is considered robust in it's construction, the New Yorkers appear to be at the higher end of the scale. Rocking grates and iron doors means it will outlast us all. They carry an H stamp IIRC, so your choice is a good one. :)
