I used to live very close to Milwaukee (and still do, really), and there was NOBODY in the area that sold coal of any type, let alone bituminous.

I have to travel pretty far downstate Illinois to get bituminous.

There are two dealers in the fox valley that sell bagged coal to the Amish farmers -- but they are 350 a ton when they have it.

if you know somebody that knows somebody -- you can get stoker coal off the island in 22 ton loads but it isn't cost effective by the time you pay the bribes.

Since trucking went so hi on a one way load from central IL to central Wi this last summer / fall --- well gave up and am smoking my old infrastructure again this season -- with a few amendments' to make it easier. ;)
