Oh The Irony

Oh The Irony

I fired my EFM up at the beginning of October. I had the preset on my thermostat set at 71. My wife was constantly complaining it was to hot. Tonight I've got the T stat bumped up to 72. When she came in from work she said it was chilly in here. I accommodated by bumping the T stat to 75. I'm not sure if she's just menopausal or crazy or both (Yeah, she doesn't frequent here :) ) but the house is now nice and toasty. Gotta love coal heat. If we were running oil I'd be bitching if I had to turn it up to 70.

I hear ya man!

My house is 58* currently! Obviously, my coal stoker has not arrived yet.....We keep the house around 60*, and we have not had it above 64* in a year, plus.

Man, I can't wait to get my LL!!!!

Before we got our AA-130 I thought the thermastat was to keep the pipes from freezing.

It's that time of year,, we aren't used to the cold walls and windows yet.. in another month, 71* will feel comfortable.

Send her out for a walk in the cold for a while. When she comes back, she'll think it's warm. Bonus: You get some non-menopausal time to yourself.

So I'm guessing you got it fired up. Did you post pics of the final install?

It took me 12 years to figure out that my wife needs something to b*tch about, so, now, I see to it that she has it.

Freddy, I guess I'm a slow learner. It's 30 years today and I still haven't figured out how to stop the bitching. Thank God for Ipods and workshops. :)

Thanks

I told her it was her anniversary, I'm just along for the ride. No sense in being nice one day out of the year. :D
