Type of Coal ( Brand)

I did a little trial with the Mag Stoker on two brands of coal, that's near me.
Of course both are rice, they are Blaschak and Reading.
Both have been burning quite well and I see no difference between them. ( performance standpoint)
The only "game breaker" for me is the fact the the Reading dlr. get all his coal covered with a lite coat of oil and the Blaschak is not. This feature DRASTICALLY cuts dust !!! Virtually non existant.
This is worth a "big sack of $" , given I'm firing in a finished area.....
Additionally the Reading is a bit cheaper !

Hi MB, be carefull, Reading coal, especially bagged coal often has lots of large pieces of coal, and some pieces of wood in the baggs.. you may want to screen the coal to prevent a large piece of coal jamming your stoker's mechanism..

You can get blaschak oiled if you want all you do is ask for it at the breaker or ask the dealer to ask them
