I hate to ask a dumb question....

What is the proper size ash tub that is to be used with our 1300??

For the past year I have been getting by with a number two square, but its not right. Its too small and I have to shovel the corners out :x

For some reason that was about the only size I could find in the immediate area and we were rushed to get the boiler running so that is what I have.

When I put the boiler on the base I set the ash tub guide in and I guess that is supposed to fill the tub without spillage.... or at least my 520 with the Kurland does anyhow.

Let me know what ya think, make my nightly chores a little bit quicker
Im not very old but the older I get the more I appriciate things that makes my life easier

Tyler a # 3 Sq tub or a #4 Sq wash tub is what yo need. Yep the 520 ash ring makes a funnel like to drop the ash in the
tub.It slides in on the two base frame Rails supports from the front of your ash door the metal tab goes towards the
back. The 700 900 1300 have a Ash Can Guide Angles frame in them. The like below will have ash tubs. The second one will show the efm ash can guide angles. 700 900 1300 Center has the # 3 tubs but not the # 4 wash tubs I don't think they got them in yet not sure .
