Obama and gun control

Obama did sign legislation allowing legal gun carry in National Parks and refused to sign a bill removing guns from airline pilots in the cockpit. - so I would say that MAYBE he isn't as anti gun as some people want to believe.

Beemerboy, He is very anti-gun. do a little checking on his background. He is just doing things "under the radar" as he told the Bradys at the white house. watch out if he gets a second term, I hope God is still watching out for us and will not let that happen. I'm not sure if he is willing to help us anymore for what people have done. just think "happy holidays" instead of Merry Christmas.

Yes. Specifically the ones the government employs.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

That's kinda why the people are supposed to have unrestricted access to weapons, and we weren't supposed to have a standing army in the first place. But who cares about the Constitution?

Fred,I do believe that rotten assailant in the film is now suffering some "FHP"-Funeral Home Phobia....Damned shame,as usual,is that the criminals don't have to obey any laws,while the sheeple(victms) slowly become defenseless by obeying the law....Not being able to defend yourself,as our good frends,namely the L.A. Riot Thugs,aptly demonstrated to their victims,can have fatal consequences. Cops can't be eveywhere to protect specifically you. You have to do it. You have to be able to do it. You don't go looking for trouble,but you sure as hell don't lock yoursef into your room at all times,afraid of life. To say the 2nd Amendment right is under constant attack is an understatement. Im pretty sure the most important reason is to protect ourselves from our own govt.? That must be what Obamma and the dems are afraid of.....I imagine our forefathers probably figured there would come a time that we would once again have to defend the constitution and our freedom/freedoms from being infringed upon. Twenty to Thirty minutes that's fast. We are working on a little over two days until we get a callback asking if we still need an officer. 20 to 30 min.s I might just move the gun from my hip to the counter with that kind of service.

Alot of "dazzling urbanites" would have no comprehension of what we're talking about. I would still rather be out in what used to be "the sticks" than back insidethe anthill known as the city. Geauga County still has it good for S.O. response times. Ashtabula County,on the PA. border,is down to one car on the road at night,I do believe......Uh-Oh....... You can imagine what that tells the crooks

The bottom line is if you can't protect yourself no else one will.If somebody knocks down your door there is no time to call the police. As a matter of fact, the last time I called the State Police, they got lost coming here. Good thing it was not an emergency situation. I rely on myself for protection.
