Econo 1 feeder

Is there an easy way to clean the coal fines that get through the air holes? Does the cast iron chute just lift off or must I take the stove apart?

Help Please,
Thanks, Stan

YOu should be able to take the grates out, or remove the combustion blower from the back and vacuum it out from there.

The grate just lifts off, but I don't expect you'd have much to clean after a season's use. My Hearth model had about 1/2 cup of dust in the grate after last year's burn.
