features missing?

I notice in the video it talks about options like feed, test, tri-burn, hold and in the manual (TS2 V3, 5/2008) that came with the coal-trol it also has the feed and test feature that are not on my TS2.

I also noticed in trying to look up the manuals online to see if there was any updates, that the ones available online don't match the one that I have in my hand and they have a TS2 manual but it's from 2006 along with the TS1 that's available.

Another thing I noticed is that my power module is not shown online as being available, mine says it's a CM-OEM-1 which seems to match the one in the video. My setup didn't come with an Installation manual, just now after looking at the ones from 2005 online I see that my power module was suppose to be mounted on the hopper.

Why doesn't my TS2 have an Extended menu option? Did I get a new book with an older TS2 and power module with my brand new stove?

When you power up your module and do you see what Version you have?
If V. 3.XX.XX, then you should have the extended features.

If you read the V3 Features at the start of this section, it tells you how to get to the Advanced menu and what all the features do.
You have to hold the button for like 15 secs or so.

I just printed out the features from here, since they haven't updated their website.

Remember to hold your menu button down for several seconds to get the secondary menu to come up.

I got the extended features now. I just wasn't holding it down long enough. Now it matches my manual.

See with that I don't have some of those features and it just makes it more confusing to me, at least is seems I don't have them. Those are for both the TS2ES and the TS2 that they combined into one list.

AUXFAN support on TS2: We've turned on the dry contact support on the TS2. Gets rid of a confusing prior requirement that only the TS1 could operate that output on properly equipped control modules.
Temp BIAS: Located in the Advanced Menu, this setting allows the user to change the calibration of the temperature readings. This was also in later versions of V2.
SFT (Supplemental Fan Threshold): Located in the Advanced Menu, this can be used to adjust the feed-rate at which the Supplemental fan (AUXFAN) output turns on, thus allowing adjustment of which feed-rate an attached furnace blower engages. In later versions of V2 this was present and called "SFN".

The Bias is the first thing that comes up in the advanced menu, and give you 2 different temperatures flashing back and forth and then it has a setting of I think 130? (factory). We disucssed this in my thread on "Temp Readings OFF from other thermostats".

I believe The AUX Fan and SFT on apply if you have the separate contacts on the Black box for the output for a separate fan, ie). The fan on your furnace if you are using that to move the heat around instead of the built in fans on the Stove itself.

Thanks Dave, now I see it and understand it a little better now.

There are only two things that the TS2ES has that the TS2 doesn't: more programmable setpoints and a permanent temperature hold option (also called a "vacation hold").

The menus described in those posts are the same on both thermostats. The SFT and AUXFAN support is there for users who have a control module with a set of dry contacts for controlling a forced air furnace fan, which are only available on the CM1 module (sold with our Advanced and Advanced+ systems) or if a customer sends in their control box for service to have them added.

The video is a bit dated now. The "triburn" option that is discussed is no longer included on the Leisure Line thermostats. A couple menu items have been moved around with the V3 thermostats, but it is mostly the same.
