Richardson? Clinton? Volker? Daschle? Geinther? Holder?
Sure looks like Bill Clintons old pals from my vantage point.
This sure puts a new "meaning" on "Meaningful Change"
Looks like just more of the "same old same old" Washigton as usual.
What happened to "Americans want change"? Guess that went out with the bathwater...

Obviously you missed the whole point of the election...The CHANGE we voted for was a CHANGE away from having a:
Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, Ted Stevens, Dole, Gonzales, ......etc..etc...etc. in our government! (& we got that CHANGE) (how was you home value, stock portfolio & 401K under Clinton vs Bush, btw?)




A change to or back to: Intelligent leadership, competence, responsibility, lack of pettiness, lawfulness,fairness for the middle class , REAL energy reform, universal health care..

I know it was 8 years ago but man those Clinton years where pretty good times !!!!!!!!! Pres. Obama has a tough task ahead of him, which I feel he will do a great job and then we will allllllll be better off

If you remember the Clinton years the stock market took a dive at the end of his term too.

Obama kept saying McCain would be the third term of the Bush adminsistration. Instead we're getting the third term of the Clinton Administration.

What's really interesting is he is apparently keeping the Sec. of Defense Robert Gates on at least for the time being.

As far as "Change" goes just like every other politician just more lip service to get elected. If the U.S. really wants change we need a third and even fourth party that is viable.

If he brought all "new" people in, everybody'd be calling it "Amateur Hour." Take a look at the market since he announced what, by all rational accounts, is a blue-ribbon economic team: up 4 days consecutively for the first time in quite a while.

And, as for the nat'l security team, all of his "commie" supporters will be much more upset than you guys, since it's Hill and Gates and Gen'l Jones, at least for the time being. Plus, Dubya just finished the secret "status of forces" deal with Iraq -- wait'll we see what that says.

But just watch, boyz. It's gonna be a long road out of the holes the Shrub has dropped us in, but we've finally got a Prez who's smart enough to actually understand the situations and lead us out of them.

I never knew that ex Clinton people were the only people in the country that had any specific skills, gosh I hope they can live forever

I don't think any president or congress can help this country but what they can do is hurt.

During the Clinton years the thing that helped the economy the most was the dot com thing.That had nothing to do with government it was brought about by privite industry(unless you believe Al Gore).If the government at that time decided to tax the p*ss out of internet services and computers the bubble wouldn't have been so big.See how EZ it is to hurt the economy.

Making money (credit) EZer is not the answer.Most poeple I know borrow money at christmas time and then pay it off all year but that won't happen this year.A lot of poeple I know are in debut up to their eyeballs and are still paying off their oil bill from last winter so putting stuff on their card is out of the question.

The only thing I see that can boost the economy is another dot com thing.Maybe something to do with energy,wind,hydrogen generators.hydro or solar.The government could help by investing 100's of billions of dollars in these fields but they won't.Instead they think that lending people more money will fix the enonomy.It won't

Obama's whole campaign was based on change, critisized Bush and McCain for always helping the upper class and the greedy CEO's. Then last week Obama states that if this administration doesn't give the Big 3 the money that will be his 1st priority. Aren't we still continuing to line the pockets of greedy CEO's? Why shouldn't they have to resign first, GM hasn't turned a profit since '06. The same CEO's who take millions in bonuses every year instead of leaving money in the company for lean years . Shouldn't Obama be helping out smaller businesses instead of rewarding those who ran their companies into the ground? All we're doing is rewarding failure and punishing those who have done the right thing, now we get to help pay for their mess too.

I still say "same old same old" Just the names have changed object of the game will be the same . The very rich get it all and JQ Taxpayer foots the bill for it .
We are just switching from the Keystone Cops to the Marx Brothers in charge. Still a bunch of pro politicians lining up a cabinet of those great carrer polirticians that put us where we are now and they promise to "spend" us right out of trouble....Give me a break....The supersalemen on Wall Street sweet talked some more people out of some more of their money...Less than 500 points on a deficit of 6000 doesnt seem like much of a rally to me. Besides anyone who thinks better times are coming just on the "name" of another "connected" Wall Street Crook is grabbing at straws

There is so much anti-Bush sentiment that Democrats could have gotten Jimmy Carter elected again (who is the original version of O'Bama by the way). So now I live in a state that elected Governor "Yes We Can Duval Patrick" and a country where 52 out of 100 people chose President Elect "Hope and Change". Now that the reality of our election has set in....my hope is that I get to keep my change.

The Clinton team had some smart players but they weren't smart enough to take care of Osama Bin Laden when he was handed to them on a silver platter. Now we get to watch Chris Dodd and Barney Frank "help" solve the financial meltdown that they are most responsible for creating...."let's loan money to people who don't have prayer of a chance of paying it back. We'll get Fannie Mae and Freddie Mack to buy all these no-prayer loans! Now who are the largest recipients of campaign contributions from Fannie and Freddie? Chris Dodd, Barack O'Bama, John Kerry, and Barney Frank. Nice ! The new "A" team.
