I checked out the first one. It looks like they have their hands full, plenty of informed people shooting at them.

FYI, save screenshots as .GIF, assuming you have decent image editor you'll get a better image(especially the text) and smaller file size. The only time you should use ..JPG is for photo type content.

That's exactly what I thought.

I didn't remember if attachments could be .gif files, I'll remember to do that next time.

Whats Up With This??

PostBy: John3 On: Sun Nov 30, 2008 7:17 pm

Have been browsing thur this site for some time now trying to learn all I can about burning coal. Have yet to see any signs of our Koker, but will be patient. Just happened to open one of the Google Adds that run under the top banner. This one is titled THECLEAN.ORG. From what I read, anyone burning coal will probably turn green, grow a third testical and praise AlGore. How did something like this end on this web site??

Happy Holidays,
John

I could use an extra testicle, so I guess I will continue burning coal.

They are dumb enough to spend advertising dollars to support this site, so let them keep doing it!!

Richard, what's the deal with this????

I would think the ads are chosen based on keywords, not the action of a real live person.

Ill spell it out: ROLLING ON FLOOR LAUGHING!!!!!! I couldnt just type rofl! ! ! Lettem spend the money!! Do they really think that they are going to sway anyone on this site?? The beauty of it is that I am happy I am in the supreme minority when it comes to burning coal. I feel like it is my little discovery. (along with everyone else on this site) Let the majority of the public burn their oil and Natural gas. The more people deterred from coal the better it is for all of us.

Correct, Google has a bot that spiders the page and serves ads based on the content. In some cases it may serve ads based on the overall site content.
